Australia 2025 – Torres Strait Islander Flag $2 C Mintmark Uncirculated Coin commemorates 30 years since the flag’s official recognition in 1995. This richly symbolic piece honours the identity, unity, and heritage of Torres Strait Islander people, featuring a full-colour design and the Royal Australian Mint’s official C Mintmark.
The design, created by Bernard Namok, displays green panels for land, a blue panel for sea, and thin black stripes representing the people. A white 5-pointed star symbolising the five major island groups sits at the centre, surrounded by a dhari – a traditional headdress. Each coin is housed in an official Royal Australian Mint pack and struck to an Uncirculated standard.
