1. Eligibility & Scope

1.1 Collectible Items Only: Returns apply exclusively to collectible items sold by NextGen Collectors. These include both Numismatic products and Australian Currency products (including commemorative coins).

1.2 Timeframe: You must initiate your return within 14 business days of receiving the collectible item.

1.3 Condition: Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all accessories or documentation.

1.4 Proof of Purchase: A valid order confirmation or receipt is required to validate your return request.


2. Initiating a Return

2.1 Contact Us: Email returns@nextgencollectors.com or use our Contact Us page with your order details and reason for return.

2.2 Approval & Instructions: Once we confirm eligibility, we’ll provide return instructions (such as packaging guidelines and the return address).

2.3 Shipping Costs: Unless the return is due to a major failure or an error on our part, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.


3. Inspection & Refund Processing

3.1 Inspection: After receiving the collectible item, we’ll inspect it to ensure it meets our return criteria.

3.2 Refund Method: Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7 business days after inspection.

3.3 Restocking Fee (If Applicable): Some items may incur a restocking fee; we will inform you before finalizing the refund.


4. Faulty or Damaged Items

4.1 Reporting Damage: If your collectible item arrives faulty or damaged, please email returns@nextgencollectors.com within 14 business days with photos and details of the issue.

4.2 Major Failure: If a collectible item has a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.


5. Non-Refundable Items

5.1 Clearance/Final Sale: Items marked as final sale or clearance are not eligible for return unless legally required.

5.2 Custom or Personalised Items: Custom or personalised items are non-returnable unless the item has a significant defect not caused by you.


6. Pre-Orders & Deposits

6.1 Cancellation Fee: Canceling a collectible pre-order may incur a cancellation fee (for example, $25 or 5% of the order value, whichever is lower).

6.2 Supplier Non-Fulfillment: If our supplier is unable to fulfill the pre-order, you will receive a full refund (including any deposit paid).


7. Exchanges

7.1 Eligibility: Collectible items eligible for return may also be exchanged, subject to availability.

7.2 Contact First: Please email or call us before returning your item to confirm the availability of a replacement.


8. Shipping Details for Returns

8.1 Domestic Shipping: For collectible returns, please use a trackable shipping service with Signature on Delivery. If the original order exceeded $5,000 and shipped via TNT, we may require using TNT or a similarly insured method for your protection.

8.2 Insurance: We recommend insuring all returned items. We are not liable for any loss or damage during return transit unless we made an error.


9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any updates take effect immediately upon posting on our website. We encourage you to review this policy before making any purchase or return.
