The T&S Coin – Holy Knights – Jerusalem Knights 2026 2oz Silver Coin opens the eight-coin Holy Knights series, dedicated to the great Christian chivalric orders and the legacies they forged through faith, duty and sacrifice.
This first release portrays knights of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre riding beneath the True Cross as they depart Jerusalem. Founded to guard Christ's tomb and protect pilgrims visiting the Holy City, the Order represents devotion, vigilance and a duty that endured even after Jerusalem fell.
The reverse captures the tense moment before the Battle of Hattin in 1187, when the Crusader army was surrounded by Saladin's forces, cut off from water and weakened by smoke and exhaustion. High-relief detail, an antique finish, selective colour and gilded elements bring the mounted knights, the True Cross and the city of Jerusalem to life.
The obverse features the Public Seal of Niue surrounded by the emblems of the holy orders, together with inscriptions identifying the series, metal, weight, year and denomination.
Struck from 2oz of .999 fine silver, this 45 mm high-relief coin is limited to just 500 pieces worldwide. Each coin is presented in a display case and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
