2025 $2 Coloured UNC – Torres Strait Islander Flag commemorates 30 years since the Torres Strait Islander Flag was first introduced. Designed by Bernard Namok, this culturally significant release celebrates identity, unity, and the enduring heritage of the Torres Strait Islander people.
The design features green panels representing the land, a blue panel symbolising the waters of the Torres Strait, and black stripes for the people. At the centre is a white five-pointed star representing the five major island groups, encircled by a dhari — a traditional headdress and powerful cultural emblem.
These coins have been sourced as loose coins and carefully selected in Uncirculated (UNC) condition, then housed in a NextGen Collectors Coin Capsule for long-term protection and premium presentation.
