2023 $2 Coloured UNC – Vegemite Yellow Ring celebrates 100 years of Vegemite, one of Australia’s most iconic and recognisable foods. Released into circulation through a corporate program partnership between the Royal Australian Mint and Woolworths Supermarkets, this issue forms part of the popular Vegemite Centenary coloured $2 coin series.
This design features a jar of Vegemite as its focal point, surrounded by a distinctive yellow ring. The words VEGEMITE CENTENARY appear above the ring, with “100 Mitey Years” below.
The coin was released during the reign of King Charles III; however, as his effigy had not yet been approved for use in Australia, it features the Queen Elizabeth II memorial obverse with the dates 1952–2022.
These coins have been carefully selected in Uncirculated (UNC) condition and housed in a NextGen Collectors Coin Capsule for protection and presentation.
